fuji 340, can you help i want to add a card reader via usb port in to the print server but i can only see input
by HDD and disk and the hdd does not show any think but d drive and not the card reader in the usb port,i see there are greyed out box's to add inputs but i do not have the password for addmin, do you know a way to see the usb ports in the HDD drive.

Hi I'm an old analog darkroom person, give me a neg and a enlarger any day over a computer and a digital laser printer, I'm more in the dark now with Digital then ever I was wen I was in the darkroom .But I'm giving it a go please bear with me thank you for coming back to me.
So i do hope this helps the Dell t3500 server as on it Merlin ll digital imaging and is running some think called VirtualBox windows 7 and on the FDI manager C4 print service V5.0-oe-820 and C5data writing service V5.0.oe=820 and C8 simple print software V1.oe-016 and cdrlib library V1.6, so my problem is I think with the merlin software on the layout for input it is only showing 2 inputs 1 is from CD and 1 is from HDD and this links to the D drive all the other buttons on the layout are gray if i click on any of the grayed out buttons it dose not do any think i.e. no option to set up a new input i.e. from memory card via the usb port and if i look in the HDD D drive i can not see the usb ports and if i take out the use card reader the server dose not make a sound or show any recognition of plugin in a usb device, so I clicked on admin thinking i musk have to set up a new input this way but the merlin software is asking for a password and i do not know watt the password is and the person i got the lab from says that they can not remember it, is there and other way of getting digital files in to the frotie to print them.

Login to Printing -> Admin service. DI password.
In the Media Drive menu, specify all devices where source images can be located. In the Icon column, select the icon name, in the Drive column, select the device letter, in the File Path column, specify the path to the file (for Kiosk, Frontier Manager, etc.)

Thank you so much for your help and I understood and can see how to add inputs, I looked for the memory card reader but can not see it even if I go to c drive and look down c drive it normally on other computers shows as a f.g.h drive but i can see the card reader is on and as a blue light, I just can not see it in the d drive, do you think it can be because the windows 7 is virtualbox or i need to use a older memory card reader.

The virtual machine may not see the card reader. Look for another way to upload photos.
In VirtualBox, USB devices must be enabled through the menu. This is inconvenient and only affects the current session.

Thank you for your reply's just a update, For some reason the print server as lost the viterbox and reverted back to window 2000 so i have replaced the del sever with the one I have had repaired by Fuji engineer this dell server is running XP with MS01 V 4.2, Can anyone please tell me how to change the ip address and how to connect a memerycard reader via usb so I can input digital images to print and how to send the scanned film to a place ware I can save it to make a cd,dvd,or to save to a usb peg in a step by step way, I would be most grateful.
