Yes, a starter is very expensive for CP48 or CP49 if you decide to buy it from Fujifilm.
Better to buy Axel Color starter - it costs 3 times less in Euro.
And it is possible to start the lab without a starter:
CP48
How to make P1 for a 12,7L working tank (Frontier 350/355/370/375/390)
Recipe:
1. Take 20L plastic bin and pour there 7,8 L of clear water.
2. Add there 3,9 L of replenisher developer (Р1-R) - you can take it from the CP48 cartridges or from CP-47L P1-R (2 cans * 2,5L is enough).
3. Add to this mixture 3,9 L of the water (instead of a starter)
4. Mix it manually with any stick.
5. Pour the mixture into P1 tank.
Discard exceeded solution.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
For Frontier 330/340 all the same but the ready volume will be 10L.
CP49
Р1 for Frontier 330/340:
1. Water - 6 L
2. P1-R - 3 L
3. Water - 3 L.

Р2 for Frontier 330/340:
1. Water 5L
2. Р2-RA -2,5L
3. Р2-RB - 2,5L
4. Pour in the working tank.
Discard exceeded solution.

CP48
P2 for Frontier 350/355/370/375/390
1. Water - 6,5L
2. Р2-RA -3,25L
3. Р2-RB - 3,25L
4. Pour in the working tank.
Discard exceeded solution.
Do not forget to perform calibration.

I make this mixture to frontier 350 from FUJIFILM cartridge CP-48SII PC
CP48SII P1
How to make P1 for a 12,7L working tank Frontier 350
Recipe:
1. Take 20L plastic bin and pour there 7,8 L of distilled water.
2. Add there 3,9 L of (CP-48SII PC P1R) from the CP48SII CPcartridges .
3. Add to this mixture 3,9 L of the water (7.8 water + 3.9 P1-R + 3.9 water --> i get about 15.6 L mixture)
4. Mix it manually with any stick.
5. Pour the mixture into P1 tank.
Discard exceeded solution.
CP-48SII P2
P2 for Frontier 350
1. Water - 6,5L
2. PC-48SII PC Р2-RA -3,25L from CP-48SII PC cartridge
3. PC-48SII PC Р2-RB - 3,25L from CP-48SII PC cartridge
4. Pour in the working tank. (3.25 P2-RA + 3.25 P2-RB + 6.5 L distilled water ---> i get about 13 L mixture)
Discard exceeded solution.
Do not forget to perform calibration. <--- I think this is temperature calibration. I don't know what is mean. Can you tell me, what you mean ?
When i set temperature down, from 38 C temp to about 28 C temp, i get result ---> whiter... I don't know, what i do ---> wrong.
Sorry, for me bad english.

Nothing surprising. Terrible replay. For FF340 tanks, you need only 300 grams of concentrate from each can. Not 3 liters! Drain 3 liters of chemicals from the working tanks and top up with water.

The FF350 has slightly larger tanks. 340 has 10 liters. You have 12. So 300-350 grams of concentrate is enough.

So, just Drain 3 liters of chemicals from P1 and P2 working tanks. Drain 3 L from P1 , drain 3Liter from P2 ? Or 1,5 L from P1 , 1,5L P2 ?
Can you help about this --> temperature have must real ? I mean with thermometer set temp ? (temp calibration)
Thank you ?

Drain 3 L from P1 , drain 3Liter from P2
Temperature must be - P1 38,5, P2 - 38.0. PS - 38.0.
Set them in the menu - Processing Temperature Setting.

I make things easier. I fill the working tanks P1 and P2 with water to the level. Warm up the minilab to operating temperature. Then I drain 300 grams of water from the P1 tank and add the concentrate from the P1 RA cartridge. I drain 600 grams of water from the P2 tank and add 300 grams each from the P2A and P2B cans. Then I run the test. If it is not black enough on it, I pump up P1 through the menu or add 50 grams of concentrate. What's so difficult? And spend 2 cartridges to start ...
It is convenient to add the concentrate through the filter holes.

You no longer need to pump solutions. You have such a strong overexposure! Drain another 2 liters of P1 and add water. Lower the temperature in tank P1 to 35 degrees. And check what happened.
Mr.Twister advised a completely wild recipe. And you followed him.

Drain another 2 liters of P1 and add water to the level. And try again. The chemistry is very highly concentrated. You have to dilute a little and try. The recipe was given absolutely wild! 3.9 liters of concentrate...

Take a teaspoon of regular table salt. Dissolve in a glass of warm water. Pour into working tank P1. Let the machine stir the solution for 5 minutes. Print a test.

Pure white is now impossible to achieve. Set up all papers as usual (through a densitometer) and print. After a while, the chemistry will come in order and everything will be OK.

Why salt make paper more white ? Bad my water ?
Do you use Fuji Film FRSS 10 filter system ? Or use other filter system ?
